This scholarship is awarded to student pursuing an Engineering degree at the University of Washington.
This scholarship was established by the generous donation from the estate of David Bruce Nelson. Having grown up in Anacortes, Mr. Nelson spent many years working in Seattle before retiring and returning to his hometown, where he lived the remaining years of his life. His love for this community and his desire to support its future generations inspired this donation.
