Jim and Joyce Anderson Vocational Scholarship

The Andersons believe not everyone fits into a 4-year program and established this scholarship to support vocational workers such as plumbers, plasterers, welders, boat mechanics and those pursuing the culinary arts.
Jim is a retired attorney and Joyce a retired flight attendant. Jim is a long-time member of the Anacortes Rotary Club and was a trustee of Skagit Valley College as well as a member of the Anacortes Schools Foundation board. Joyce was a long-time member of the Anacortes Housing authority board and a member of a Seattle Children's hospital Guild.
