Anacortes Lions Club Scholarship
Each year the Anacortes Lions Club awards scholarships to graduating seniors who share our passion for service. These students have demonstrated a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, particularly in areas such as vision and hearing support, disability inclusion, pediatric cancer, diabetes awareness, and community health education. We are honored to invest in their future as they continue the Lions’ mission of service.

The Anacortes Lions Club, a proud member of Lions Clubs International - the world's largest service organization - has been actively serving our community since 1937. Many of the programs that enhance Anacortes life, such as vision and hearing screenings for school children, the display of flags on Commercial Avenue for national holidays, the Causland Park Easter Egg Hunt, the annual Holiday Parade and supporting the Annual Serenity Thomas Princess Ball - they are all made possible by the dedicated efforts of the Anacortes Lions Club, and the generous contributions of local businesses and residents.

In addition to these community traditions, our club is committed to improving accessibility and inclusion for individuals with disabilities, supporting psychiatric cancer and diabetes awareness, and providing essential vision and hearing care to those in need. Through public education, preventive screenings, and direct support services, we work to make a lasting impact on local families.
