Harold H. "Bud" Turner Scholarship

The Harold H. "Bud" Turner Scholarship is given in recognition of Bud's unique abilities to combine American ingenuity with practical application towards facilitating and modernizing bulk product movement.
Bud always made each task a pleasure as well as a challenge with his sense of humor, friendship, and good nature. This scholarship is facilitated through the Port of Anacortes and is awarded to a graduating senior from Anacortes High School who exhibits strong technical skills and who plans on majoring in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics or industrial sciences.
